Welcome to our wraparound care provision...
As of September 2022, Premier Education will be providing Oxley Park Academy's Wraparound care.
Premier Education have been successfully delivering high quality provision in primary schools across the country for 20 years including physical education, holiday club care and extra-curricular sessions in sport and non-sporting activities
Since 2016 Premier Education has also been running wraparound care. Our vision for an enhanced “healthy active” provision, along with the easy customer journey for parents, means more and more schools are choosing Premier Education as their wraparound care provider.
We have been working closely with the school leadership team on this project to ensure the wraparound care will act as an extension of the school day with familiarity from Ziggy allowing the children to thrive within their extended school hours provision.
From September 2022, Premier Wraparound will run before and after school every day the school is open. Our promise is an outstanding, safe, secure, and a fun environment that children and parents can trust.
Premier Wraparound will bring the following:
Our provision starts at 7.30am and ends at 6.00pm, providing huge flexibility especially for our working families. Places are open to all children who attend Oxley Park Academy. We run all provisions simultaneously on both our campuses.
We also have a limited number of spaces for our Nursery Villagers at our Shenley Wood campus.

Life in Wraparound Care
Our wraparound care is based on a home setting where children are able to kick off their shoes and relax at the end of the school day.
With a huge variety of activities for our children to access throughout the session, there is always something to do or play with. To list just a few, children can play in the small world or home corner to enhance their imagination. For the budding builders we have a range of building blocks, K’NEX and Lego. Our artists have creative stations for drawing, colouring and painting. Having a wide range of board games for children to play, helps build their confidence and team spirit, with Bingo being the highlight of the week. Movie night is always exciting, watching a film on the big screen with popcorn. When the weather allows us we play outside.
We aren't just a wraparound club but a family to all children who attend whether that be every day or on an ad-hoc basis!
Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am each morning. The children are offered a buffet breakfast rotation of toast, crumpets, pancakes, croissants, cereals, fruit and yoghurts with milk, water, tea or hot chocolate to drink. We have a range of stimulating activities available to the children. At 8:30am children are then taken to their classes by a breakfast club member of staff ready to begin their learning.
After School Club runs from 3:00pm-6:00pm with different sessions available. We offer a substantial snack such as a wrap, during the early session, freshly prepared and served for children. Our experienced staff provide a wide range of creative themed activities for your child to enjoy from arts and crafts, team & board games, puzzles, computing activities and even a movie night where children can kick off their shoes and relax.

Pupils behave well. They are proud of their school and show high levels of respect, both towards each other and to staff. (Ofsted)
My children enjoy attending each day. They find the work challenging and interesting. They really like the teaching staff and feel supported and have grown in confidence.
Working at Oxley is so special and unique. Everyone is so kind, well-being is at the forefront and our community are a delight. I love my job! (Teacher)
The school missions and values make my son want to be a part of the Academy and try his best. I feel proud that my sons are at Oxley Park and the Nursery and I feel that the changes being made are really positive!
The children are oozing with so much more ‘zest’ since the start of this year, which makes us as parents happier and excited about their future at OPA.
My children love the school! My eldest was quiet, didn’t want to learn, didn’t enjoy school. Now he is settled, has friends and has started to show improvements. My daughter loves her teachers and is extremely enthusiastic.
