Our Academy Ambassadors (aka Head Boys and Girls) are voted for by the children and staff. They put a presentation together with their pledges for our school. This is an extremely highly-regarded role working hard to make our school even better. During their tenure, our Ambassadors will lead the Junior Ambassador Team to ensure the pledges which they made become reality. They also have a number of events at which they will represent the academy.

A message from your Academy Ambassadors

Hello and welcome to our FAB school! We are the Academy Ambassadors, a group of proud Year 6 pupils who care deeply about making Oxley Park Academy the best place it can be.

We love our school because it is a place where everyone is encouraged to shine. Every day is filled with exciting learning, fun opportunities, and smiling faces. Whether it’s discovering something new in class, taking part in clubs, or enjoying time with friends, there’s always something special happening here.

As Ambassadors, our job is to help make school even better for everyone. We listen to ideas, support younger children, and try our hardest to make sure everyone feels happy, included, and confident. We want every child who walks through our doors to know that they belong here.

We are proud of our school, proud of our friends, and proud to represent Oxley Park Academy. We hope that when you explore our website, you’ll see just how fantastic our school community is-and why we love being part of it!

Thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoy seeing what makes our school such a brilliant place to learn and grow!

Hello, my name is Delisha and I am in Year 6. A few things about me are that I’m kind, caring and am ready to comfort you whenever you need it. Some of my hobbies are swimming, drawing and playing the piano. My pledge to this wonderful school is to bring in more competitions, such as teachers vs kids. This is a way to let people express themselves and allow them to be competitive in their own way. This will also be a way for everyone to achieve more awards. As a proud Ambassador, I am pleased to see that all the children in Oxley Park Academy are enjoying their time in school as much as we Academy Ambassadors are!

Hello, I’m Darcey in Year 6!

Some of my favourite things to do are gymnastics and dance. As Academy Ambassador, I want to help everyone; from the littlest children right up to staff members. One of the things I want to achieve as Academy Ambassador is something from my pledge. I want to have regular animal visitor sessions, to help people with stress and anxiety. This would also allow children that don't have their own pet animal at home to have a chance to meet and play with them. As a proud Ambassador, I’m always pleased to see that all the children in Oxley Park Academy are enjoying their time at school, as well as us Ambassadors!

Hi, my name is George and I am 11 years old. I like swimming and cooking. When I am older, I want to be a chef!

I want to be able to support our charity the neo-natal unit at Milton Keynes because when I was born early, I stayed there until I was about 10 weeks old. I am kind and caring, and I am excited to be an Ambassador because I want to help people who don’t have many friends. I am proud to be an Ambassador at Oxley Park because it is a FAB school!

Hi, my name is Harrison. I am always really happy and like to make people smile! I really like playing video games at home. I am a Wellbeing Ambassador, and I think it is important that everyone is happy at school. I am kind and caring and want to help everyone in my role as Academy Ambassador. I am looking forward to suggesting ideas to Mr Springett-McHugh, as I have a lot of them!
