We are delighted you are considering Oxley Park Academy for your child's school. Here you will find details on how to join us either as part of our main reception intake, or an in year admission.

Reception Intake

To apply for a place at our Academy, you need to go through the Milton Keynes Local Authority Admissions service.  Look out for up to date information regarding applications for starting school for the first time.

If you are still to decide if Oxley Park Academy is the school for your child, why not come along and see us. There will be a number of open mornings and tours during our Autumn term. These visits will give you a real feel of what we can offer your little one!

Appeal Timetable 2024

Applications for September 2024 admissions close in January 2024. You will be informed of your allocated school by the local authority on 16 April 2024. If you wish to appeal the decision for reception admission please contact us directly via admissions@oxleyparkacademy.com for an appeals pack which you will need to submit by 15 May 2024. 

In year admissions

If you are applying for a place outside of the main reception intake you will need to apply as an in year admission.

If you have already chosen Oxley Park Academy as your preferred school you can contact us directly via admissions@oxleyparkacademy.com where we will be able to advise if a space is currently available and either begin the admissions process or add you to our waiting list.

Alternatively, you can contact Milton Keynes Local Authority Admissions service if you wish to apply to multiple schools at the same time.  They will coordinate your applications and then write back to you within 15 days to advise you of the outcome. If awarded a place at Oxley Park Academy, please contact our Admissions Team via admissions@oxleyparkacademy.com, who will oversee the admission process for you and assist you in getting your child enrolled at OPA.

Waiting List

Please be advised we hold a waiting list for all year groups that are currently full.  As a space becomes available it is allocated in accordance with our published over subscription criteria within our main admissions policy as above. Time spent on the waiting list is not considered.
