Here at Oxley Park Academy, we put reading at the heart of everything we do.  We recognise that being able to read opens every door for learning and life experiences.  Reading at Oxley Park is unique!  We want it to be fun, exciting and inspiring to choose and read a book - no matter where you are in our academy.   Welcome to 'Just Love Reading!', our vision for reading in everyday life.   Children can sit back and enjoy a book in the bath, at the hairdressers, in the garden, in bed, in the lounge or chilled out in the coffee shop!   We hope you love our reading journey as much as we do!

Time to lay down or cuddle up on the sofa in front of the fire and enjoy your book!  No need for TV, game consoles or iPads, just a sofa, rug and a great book!

The perfect place to enjoy an exciting story, in bed!   Either all cuddled up reading by yourself under the cover with a torch or laying back while someone reads a lovely bedtime story.  You can have either here at Oxley Park!

Time to get outside and take in the natural surrounds while enjoying your favourite book.   You can do this in all weathers at Oxley Park Academy, as we have a reading garden inside!

Yes, that's right, we have a hairdressers in our library!   The perfect place to sit back and enjoy your favourite comic, magazine or newspaper!  A popular place to find children and adults!

The best thing after a long day - a lovely hot bubble bath, chill out and relax with a good book!   Yes, you've got it - we have a bath in our library!   Why there isn't one in every library in the country is the question!
