Our vision is that every Oxley Parker will develop a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge and discovery, which will remain with them throughout their educational journey and into adult life. Our exciting environment ignites curiosity and sparks imagination, our inclusive curriculum engages all children and delivers a wide choice of subjects which provide opportunities for new experiences, develops talent and enhances knowledge - it provides the stepping stones to acquiring all the skills required to develop resilience, self-awareness and a positive mental attitude.
During their time in Early Years, children are introduced to our ‘Dream’ ambition: they will let their imagination go wild and start to dream big with ambitious aspirations.
As our children move onto Key Stage 1, they develop a robust sense of belief in themselves, seeing failure as a route to success and an opportunity to enhance their learning - they are on a journey of self-discovery and developing an ‘I can’ attitude.
Our Key Stage 2 children are the ambassadors of Oxley Park Academy and embody all of our 6C’s (our academy values) in everything they do. They have developed the tools, self-confidence and resilience to dream big, believe in themselves and others and achieve their goals. Coming to the end of their journey with Oxley Park, they are ready to embrace the next stage of their journey with confidence and positivity with all the skills required to recognise their potential is endless to Dream, Believe and Achieve - Together!
Pupils behave well. They are proud of their school and show high levels of respect, both towards each other and to staff. (Ofsted)
My children enjoy attending each day. They find the work challenging and interesting. They really like the teaching staff and feel supported and have grown in confidence.
Working at Oxley is so special and unique. Everyone is so kind, well-being is at the forefront and our community are a delight. I love my job! (Teacher)
The school missions and values make my son want to be a part of the Academy and try his best. I feel proud that my sons are at Oxley Park and the Nursery and I feel that the changes being made are really positive!
The children are oozing with so much more ‘zest’ since the start of this year, which makes us as parents happier and excited about their future at OPA.
My children love the school! My eldest was quiet, didn’t want to learn, didn’t enjoy school. Now he is settled, has friends and has started to show improvements. My daughter loves her teachers and is extremely enthusiastic.
